On Being a Stagewhore

I applied for the the3six5 project this year, and this was the result.

I pulled props and costumes for my show tonight. That’s the moment for me when it hits. “Oh right. Audience.” Another three weeks, and this show will be on its feet and I will be a director without portfolio.

I don’t think you can have a theatre production without challenges. Some of the challenges in this show were self-inflicted, to make “my vision” come alive. But the cast and crew have held together, and it is really a delight to attend every rehearsal.

…but I’d rather be working on my own stuff. And if things in my personal life stay more stable for the next few months, I will.

Hope I look pretty in them.
